Chennai, India – The Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC) has introduced an exciting new attraction for Chennaiites and visitors: a floating restaurant on the tranquil Muttukadu Backwaters. Dubbed Seanz Cruise, this innovative dining experience also serves as the city’s first “Luxury Dinner Cruise”, combining exquisite views with modern amenities.

The double-decker cruise boat was inaugurated by Tourism Minister R. Rajendran and MSME Minister T. M. Anbarasan, with Tourism Secretary B. Chandra Mohan also in attendance. Currently docked at the Muttukadu Boat House along East Coast Road (ECR), the floating restaurant is easily accessible from Chennai.

Features of Seanz Cruise

• Capacity: Accommodates around 100 guests.
• Lower Deck: Air-conditioned, designed for dining and events, with a stage, DJ zone, changing rooms, and a high-quality sound system.
• Upper Deck: Open-air seating with a banquet area, buffet counter, and breathtaking views of the backwaters.

The cruise caters to advance reservations only, making it ideal for weddings, corporate events, family gatherings, and product launches. Entertainment options such as DJ performances, dance shows, and magic acts are also available to enhance the experience.
