Bershka Enters India with First Mumbai Store and Online Launch

Bershka, a brand under the Inditex Group, has officially entered the Indian retail market with its first store at Phoenix Palladium, Mumbai, along with the launch of its dedicated e-commerce platform. Catering to a young and fashion-forward audience, Bershka now offers its trendy collections across both physical and digital channels in India.

Bershka’s Product Lines in India

  • BSK Teen: Designed for ages 10-12, this collection draws inspiration from social media, digital culture, and youth-centric pop trends.
  • Bershka Women and Men: Targeting fashion-conscious consumers engaged in music and social media, offering contemporary styles.

Store Design & Features

Spanning 472m², the Mumbai store incorporates Bershka’s latest retail design concept, focusing on optimized product displays and a seamless shopping experience. A 10-meter-high steel panel façade highlights the architectural aesthetics, while the store layout integrates modern interior elements for a sleek and engaging atmosphere.

To enhance the customer experience, the store features both physical and self-checkout points, along with well-lit fitting rooms featuring a neutral palette of stone and steel for durability and elegance.

Online Presence & Customer Benefits

Bershka’s e-commerce platform, BERSHKA.COM, now serves Indian consumers, offering all three product lines. The platform provides:

  • Free shipping on orders above ₹2,990 for non-discounted items.
  • Free in-store pickup for online orders.

Customers can also enroll in BERSHKA MMBRS, a loyalty program offering:

  • 2% cashback on purchases.
  • 4% cashback on first purchases via the app.
  • Additional perks such as birthday rewards, early access to collections, and exclusive event invitations.

Bershka’s Place in the Inditex Group

Bershka is part of Inditex Group, which also owns Zara, Pull & Bear, Massimo Dutti, Stradivarius, Oysho, and Zara Home. Inditex currently operates 26 stores across India, with Bershka joining Zara and Massimo Dutti in providing a dedicated online shopping experience.
