Chhota Bheem-Themed Café to Debut in Hyderabad, Bringing Beloved Characters to Life

Hyderabad: Fans of India’s beloved animated character Chhota Bheem are in for a treat as Green Gold Animation and EBG Group have announced the launch of the country’s first Chhota Bheem-themed café, combining food, fun, and storytelling into one immersive experience.

The café, designed as a family-friendly destination, will feature interactive play zones, storytelling corners, licensed merchandise, and activities inspired by popular characters such as Chhota Bheem, Chutki, and Mighty Raju. With vibrant interiors and a focus on healthy dining, the café aims to offer a safe and engaging environment for children and parents alike.

Hyderabad, the home base of Green Gold Animation, has been chosen as the launchpad for this venture. The first two outlets are set to open in Hitech City by December 2025, marking the beginning of a larger rollout across India.

The concept will be available in two formats — a compact express model (25×40 ft) and a larger full-scale format (50×40 ft). Initially, the cafés will operate under a Company-Owned, Company-Operated (COCO) model, with EBG Group managing operations, branding, and training to maintain consistent quality standards.

“As part of our expansion, we plan to open 300 cafés across India, beginning with 50 outlets in 2026,” said Rajiv Chilaka, Founder and CEO of Green Gold Animation. “This initiative will create more than 250 jobs and provide families with a space to bond, play, and create lasting memories. Over the years, Chhota Bheem has evolved from an animated character into a cultural icon loved by millions, and this café brings that world to life.”

With plans to expand nationwide and eventually to global markets, the Chhota Bheem-themed café is set to redefine how families experience dining and entertainment in India.
